Future Capital, led by Female Funders, in partnership with Microsoft Vancouver and Simon Fraser University(SFU), will equip corporate leaders with the skills to drive growth beyond their core business and evaluate new innovation and technology in their industry. By providing women leaders with the skills to invest in early-stage ventures, this program will enable women to participate in the next generation of high-growth businesses as investors, advisors and board members and close the gender gap.
Through the Future Capital program, 500 Canadian women will gain access to a new platform for education, become members of an emerging network of women decision-makers in the tech and innovation ecosystem, and gain new opportunities to lead innovation within Canada. Readied to invest, mentor and advise, these 500 participants will be poised to make deep impact on the economy and drive diversity through capital investment to board-level leadership. This program represents an opportunity to invest in the future capital of women to inspire and scale our economy.
