The Honourable Minister François-Philippe Champagne visits Ideon Technologies alongside DIGITAL

On May 25th, the Honourable Minister François-Philippe Champagne and Member of Parliament Parm Bains joined DIGITAL in touring the facilities of our project partner, Ideon Technologies, in Richmond, B.C. As a Canadian company, Ideon has scaled at a phenomenal rate: doubling their staff within the past year, on the way to doubling their staff again in 2024 and currently working with the largest mining companies in the world. Their world-leading technology is accelerating the transition to a net-zero future by identifying critical minerals up to 1 km beneath the Earth’s surface and increasing geological certainty to more than 95%. Ideon’s journey is the ultimate example of made-in-Canada innovation made possible by the power of DIGITAL’s collaborative model.

“Achieving a net-zero future hinges on the competitiveness and sustainability of the Canadian natural resource industry. To cement the transition to low-carbon economies, we need sustainable, low-impact methods of locating and extracting critical minerals. DIGITAL is proud to partner with pioneers like Ideon Technologies, which are driving the development of transformative made-in-Canada solutions that are addressing this need. It’s our honour to continue fostering synergies between the best in Canadian industry and academia to become global leaders in driving digital innovation for some of the world’s most pressing issues.”
